New Streetbank
Streetbank has a new layout. But don’t be confused! We have changed things a bit – the old home page with the borrowing, giving away and skills tabs still exists – just now it is called “things†though let us know if you can think of a better name. And from now on this will be the front page – a mixture of blogs with contributions from us, from you and from other people who have thought about community, simple living and living a full life.
On the right hand side you can see the most recent requests and recommendations and the latest things added in your area.
Let us know what you think of the new layout and of Streetbank more generally, of features that you think we should add, of things you don’t like and of things you do. Just click on “add belowâ€. We would love to know.

I have to say that I really like the community aspect of your site, but it is not easy or intuitive to use. For example, I remembered having very recently come across a recommendation that I had seen for odd jobs round the house that I wanted to follow up – but it took me ages to find it again. I did eventually find the recommendation that I was looking for, but it was more through happenstance and persistence than through site layout. Can’t you at least have a search engine for keywords…?
